Welcome to Causeway Classic Automobiles

After a distinguished, 32 year career in the Royal Marines, almost all of which was spent focused on vehicle maintenance and logistics, John Lowry founded Causeway Classic Automobiles in 2004. By doing so, he combined a passion for owning and maintaining classic cars and motorcycles with running his own business. John started operations from one comprehensively equipped, multi-purpose garage unit, with the capability for car and motorcycle MOT and general mechanical repairs. During the succeeding 3 years, John steadily grew the business and built up a loyal following of classic car and motorcycle owners. Additionally, his reputation as an excellent motor engineer, able to mend almost anything mechanical or electrical, on cars or bikes, grew steadily through word of mouth. These skills, coupled with outstanding customer service, helped to develop a large degree of repeat business. In mid 2007, John took over an additional unit, adjacent to the MOT bay, allowing a wider range of mechanical repairs and restorations to be carried out.
Early in 2008, a state-of-the-art spray booth was inastalled in a unit adjoining the MOT and mechanical repair bays. This addition was the vital final element to the overall business, permitting a complete range of testing, diagnostics, mechanical repair, bodywork repair and restorations for modern and classic cars and bikes to be undertaken in one convenient location.
Causeway Classic Automobiles are now ready to undertake all your motoring needs, regardless of age, condition or type. Our friendly team are always available to offer advice and diagnosis plus many other services described in more detail on our services page.
